Our legal department is currently looking for an Employment Law Paralegal to join their team at our offices in Chester.
We aim to provide our clients with a bespoke and premium service by giving personal, quality and pragmatic Employment Law & HR advice on a fixed-fee basis, without the uncertainty of cost associated with the traditional law firm model.
There will be no billing targets or claimant work!
We are seeking an employment paralegal to assist in servicing our growing client base. The role is focused on Respondent work, and the successful candidate will enjoy a varied workload in contentious and non-contentious matters.
You will be supporting our legal advisors in all areas of Employment Law including but not limited to TUPE/Redundancy/Discrimination/Unfair Dismissal, undertake drafting disciplinary invites/outcome letters, grievance invites/outcome letters, Contracts of Employment and Employee Handbooks.
In addition to this, you will assist in conducting Tribunal Litigation by drafting pleadings, witness statements, day to day correspondence, preparation of trial bundles and negotiating settlement. An active tribunal caseload with opportunities to undertake Tribunal Advocacy will be given to those who have sufficient experience.
You will be enthusiastic, organised and have effective verbal, written communication and client skills. There will also be opportunities to contribute to business development for the right candidate.
Salary is wholly dependent on experience.
