What they say about us
Intro.
Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) is a partnership of businesses, local authorities, and higher/further education leaders. This unique ‘triple-helix’ structure comes together to make locally informed, evidence-based investment decisions that create jobs, drive forward inclusive and sustainable economic growth in the region and expand the private sector. It is also home of GBSLEP Growth Hub which provides free and impartial business support to SMEs.
Their collaborative work aims to benefit people living and working in the GBSLEP region. This is done through the creation of jobs, employer-led skills training, business support, investments in infrastructure and economic policy making. GBSLEP’s agile and flexible approach has meant that they can react to rapidly changing economic and social circumstances; from putting together Covid-19 packages of support to opening a Clean Growth Grant considering rising energy costs.
GBSLEP’s vision is for Greater Birmingham to be a leading global city region and a major driver of the UK economy.
The organisation serves businesses and communities in Birmingham, Solihull, East Staffordshire, Cannock Chase, Tamworth, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Lichfield and Wyre Forest. Through their work the mission is to raise the quality of life for everyone living in the beating heart of the UK.
