Malkit is a highly experienced Employment Law Solicitor with a distinguished career spanning over two decades, specialising in providing legal advice and representation for public authorities.
Before joining Neathouse Partners, Malkit held senior roles with organisations such as Staffordshire and West Midlands Police Joint Legal Services, where he led the Employment and Pensions Team and supervised a team of solicitors, advisors, and paralegals. During his tenure, he successfully defended high-profile and complex Employment Tribunal cases, including discrimination and whistleblowing claims exceeding £1.6 million, and provided strategic advice on workforce reorganisations, TUPE transfers, redundancies, and disciplinary procedures.
Malkit’s expertise extends beyond employment law, with significant experience in pensions, governance, and regulatory matters. He has represented clients in the Court of Appeal and High Court, achieving landmark decisions in police pensions and employment law.
